Jio Phone Next: Price in India may Rs 3900, Confirmed Specifications, Launch Date

So back in June jio announced its upcoming smartphone named the jio phone next and one interesting thing about that phone is that it is co-developed with Google.

This phone is said to be an ultra-affordable 4G smartphone and it is quite possible that it would launch as one of the cheapest 4G smartphones in India if not the cheapest.

At its June event, jio did not reveal much about this phone but we did get to see the design of it. Google also shared some software features of this phone such as a translation, a voice assistant, and better.

Now some key specifications of the jio phone next were shared by Michael from xd developers.

Jio Phone Next: Price and launch

So the Jio Phone Next is launching on September 10 on the occasion of Shri Ganesh Chaturthi(Confirmed). So by some leaks, Reliance is expected to launch this phone at a starting price of Rs 3,499 for the base variant. Maybe there is also a variant of 2Gb and 16GB come.

Jio Phone Next: Build Quality

Coming to the design Jio Phone Next comes with a Polycarbonate bold with a single color of Black. It also has a 2500 mAh battery with a normal 10W charger inside.

Jio Phone Next: Display

Based on this boot animation screen it is safe to say that the resolution of the display is 1440*720 pixels that is HD+ with a size of 5.5 inches and this is also confirmed by the leeks.

Jio Phone Next: Camera

Now on the camera side, there is a 13-megapixel camera on the back with an OmniVision sensor. And it comes with some exciting inbuilt camera features like an Augmented Reality(AR) filter, Snapchat Filter, and more. And on the front, there is a typical  8-megapixel camera.

Jio Phone Next: Processor and Storage

Speaking of the processing power the jio phone next has the Qualcomm snapdragon 215 SoC and this is an entry entry-level chipset that launched back in 2019. Now, this is the same as you see which powers phones like the Nokia 1.3 and Nokia 1.4 

This Jio Phone Next comes with two variants that is 2GB RAM with 16GB internal storage and 3GB RAM with 32 GB internal storage and the storage type will be eMMc 2.1

Jio Phone Next: Software

As we know already this phone runs on Android 11 out of the box and it is the Go edition which means this version of android 11 is made specifically for entry-level phones that do not have a lot of ram and processing power and it also comes with pre-installed go apps like Google Go, Youtube Go, Google Duo Go, Google Camera Go, and more.
