With a rapidly changing professional world upgrading career becomes a major step for every IT as well as non-IT professional, but many fail to execute what they plan when it comes to career up. Skilling Factors like hectic work schedules, monetary concerns on lack of clarity impede many aspirants from Skilling. That is why I bring to you this list where I have shortlisted the top 10 skills, which will help you in upgrading your career path in 2020.

1. UI/UX

We are in an era where people spend most of their time browsing online content. Every organization is thriving to create its online presence, which helps them widen its reach on customer interaction. This is possible only with the high interactive UI that can maximize the user experience. 

So if you have innovative thinking along with good observation on communication skills, you must consider UI or UX designing as your next career move any fresh air with the UG degree in UI or UX can become UI or UX  designer or developer. 

In case you are already in this domain, you can go for either technical positions such as principal UX designer, senior interaction, designer UX, subject matter expert, or managerial roles such as design ops manager, UX manager.

S. Dollars in the U. S. On ₹5 lakh in India.

3. DevOps

DevOps is shaping into an impressively large career domain. More and more people are converging to Adsit. If you are a fresher, you can start off your career in DevOps by getting into roles such as DevOps engineer, Software tester, Integration specialist, Database administrator, System admin, etc. If you already hold some experience, then you can advance the positions such as Dev Ops evangelist, Release manager, Automation expert, Security engineer, DevOps architect, etc.

4. Mobile app Development
 

In current times, there is hardly a person on the face of the earth who doesn't own a mobile. That makes it more than five billion unique mobile subscribers. As a result, the need for mobile app developers has been searched and it is expected to grow even more in the upcoming time. 

If you are a fresher, you can start off your career as an Android app developer, IOS app developer, Mobile application developer, Windows mobile app developer, Software engineer, etc. 

If you're already on this part, then you can upgrade your carrier to positions such as Senior mobile app developer, Mobile developer manager, Technical manager, Software development manager, and many more big brands like Bosch, Amazon, Capgemini, Make my Trip, True Collar, Box8 and many more are looking for skilled mobile app developers offering a hefty salary of $97,000 in the US on 7 to 10 lakh rupees in India per year. 

5. Cloud Computing

With ever-growing data, we're running out of storage space and as a result, most of the organizations have already moved to the cloud. According to a survey by 2021, about 94% of outstanding tasks will be handled by the Cloud Server farms. So if you're thinking of building your career in this domain, this is a crucial time for you. Being a fresher with a Bachelors's, Masters's, or Ph.D. in computer science or equivalent degree. 

You can apply for jobs like Cloud support associate, Cloud Developer, Cloud computing Engineer, Cloud infrastructure, Support engineer, etc. In case you are already a cloud professional, then you can upgrade to the roles like Senior Cloud Operation Engineer, Senior Cloud application architect, Senior Cloud engineer Cloud, Manager, etc. 

To land on to these jobs, your skillset must include understanding Cloud service providers, knowledge of programming, Database operating systems, Web services on API, virtualization, etc. Companies actively looking for cloud professionals are Google, AWS, SAP, EY, IBM, Oracle, and many more offering a median salary of $124,000 in the US, and 7 to ₹10 lakh in India annually.

In today's IT world Cyber Threat has become a major issue and it's predicted that by 2021 these crimes might cost the world $6 trillion. Organizations across the globe are continuously looking for professionals skilled in cybersecurity to avoid these data threats on breaches. 

To start your career as a fresher in this field, you need a bachelor's degree in Computer science, Cybersecurity, or A related technical field with this, you can apply for roles such as Network security engineer, Cybersecurity analyst, Cryptographer, Penetration tester, etc. 

In case you are already in this field on want to upgrade further, you can look into the roles like Security Architect, Cybersecurity manager, Chief information security officer, etc. 

With skillset, including fluent knowledge of programming, Intrusion detection, Virtualization technologies, Database platforms, Operating systems like Windows, Linux, or UNIX, etc. You might find yourself getting recruited by companies like Visa, Dell, PWC, HP, Associate general on many more. 7. Digital marketing

Technologies are integrated into our lives more than ever before. More than 1.67 billion people are connected to the Web at any point in time. The easiest way for any organization to reach out to its potential customers is through online channels. 

This is why employers are looking for people with Digital marketing skills with skills like Knowledge of search engine optimization(SEO), Data Analytics, Content marketing, Design-based thinking on planning, Paid, and email, marketing, Affiliates.

You can easily get into a job in this domain role, which you can apply for include a Digital marketing specialist, digital marketing executive Content writer, SEO executive, etc. If you're already on this part, then you can look up roles such as Digital marketing manager, E-commerce manager, Social media professional, Digital marketing expert, Digital marketing lead Growth hacker, etc. 

Companies like Mantra, Zoom Car, Axis bank, American Express, Adobe, Capgemini offer salaries ranging between 86,000 to $124,000 in the US on 8 to ₹10 lakh in India. So if you're not tech-savvy, then this part is just perfect for you to succeed in 2020.

8. Data Specialization

If you are thinking of specializing in your career in this domain, then the year 2020 is the right time for you with a bachelor's degree in IT, Computer science, Maths, Physics, or any other related field, you can easily get into this field.

Data analysis, Machine learning Programming knowledge in R or Python. 9. A.I and ML Engineer

Artificial intelligence and Machine learning are a buzzword in the industry today and for good reason, AI has made it possible for machines to learn from experience on adapt to perform human-like tasks. If you have a bachelor's degree in any technical field and want to start your journey in the world of ML and A.I.

 Then you can opt for roles such as Machine learning Engineer, Junior data analyst Ai Engineer, Data Engineer. If you have already gained some expertise in this field, then you can go for roles like Data scientist, Senior machine learning Engineer, Expert analyst, Applied machine learning Engineer, Analytics, manager, etc. 

Skills required are probability and steps, Data modeling, and Evaluation of ML algorithms and libraries, Deep learning, System design, etc. Companies hiring These professionals include Google, Netflix, Twitter, Apple, Facebook, etc. With a whopping salary ranging between 110,000 U. S. Dollars to $257,000 on 14 to 20 lakh rupees in India. 

10. Robotic Process Automation(RPA)

With the growth of Widespread adoption of RPA the year, 2020 is expected to bring a new horizon for RPA Professionals. The global RPA economy will project 8.75 billion U. S. Dollars by 2024. So starting off your career in this field surely looks promising. 

If you are a fresher with a bachelor's degree in any technical field, you are perfectly eligible for roles such as RPA developer, Business process analyst, Process engineer, etc.

 In case you have already started your journey, you can look for roles like Senior consultant, Senior process engineer, Solution architect, etc. Strong problem-solving analytical skills knowledge of RPA tools like UI Path, Blue Prism, along with database platforms, etc. 

So these are some of the required skills to learn one of these job rules. Companies hiring RPA professionals include Ui Path, Accenture. Automation anywhere, EY, etc. Offering a hefty salary ranging between 112,000 to $160,000 in the U.S. On around 7 to ₹15 lakh in India.
